Time for another Costco

Helping Feed Atlanta has been picking up donated produce from Costco Brookhaven for one year as of yesterday!!! But that’s not why I wanted to post today. About six months ago I went to the Costco Cumberland Mall store to tell the manager the success we’ve had at feeding 1000’s of hungry and homeless because of the Brookhaven store’s generousity and to ask for help from his store as well. He said yes.

Things started slowly as they usually do but last month his store donated 300 lbs of bread, 1560 lbs of dairy and 5000 lbs of produce. HFA dosen’t pick up but I handed it off to another organization who is an agent for Atlanta Community Food Bank.

Time for another Costco.
