Used up all the boxes

Whew, a long and strenuous day today. After a delay at Costco, I finally loaded up these seven big carts, delivered to Jewish Family and Career Services, Fugees Family, and Toco Hills Community Alliance. It used up all 37 boxes, so off to Cherians to reload on some more for tomorrow. I’m not complaining, but it’s now…

Then I got a call . . .

What a great day to have the day off! Aside from the pollen, Atlanta’s weather is spectacular. Then I got a call from Mary Louise Wilson and a text from Costco, asking if I could make a pick up. What a great day to be gleaning donated produce!

My first hunger walk

 I got the opportunity to spend time with my Malachi’s Storehouse peeps during my first Hunger Walk. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

90.3 cubic feet

David Miller, Helping Feed Atlanta’s Friday, Costco, volunteer guy says this: The owners manual tells me this Honda Pilot can hold 90.3 cubic feet of cargo. Every bit of it is filled with food for the Toco Hills Community Alliance today!
