david watermelonWanna’ give a hand? Thank you! We have four easy ways for you to make a difference for those in need:

  1. Help load the van. David needs help every Monday from 9 until 10 AM loading the van at Costco’s Brookhaven location.
  2. Help raise money. We have a pressing and continual need for fundraising help, specifically to keep gas in the vans and vehicle insurance paid (these are Helping Feed Atlanta’s only expenses). For instance, we had a successful Indiegogo campaign in early 2015 and could use another one, if that’s your thing. Plus, did someone say corporate sponsors would be great for the vans? We agree! Can you make it happen?
  3. Help spread the word. Follow and share the Helping Feed Atlanta story with your social media network on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
  4. Help people near you. If you don’t live in metro-Atlanta, see if something like Helping Feed Atlanta exists near you. If it does, make sure your local supermarkets participate and encourage them to do so if they don’t. If it doesn’t exist, why not start it? See how (and why) here.

Please contact David if you would like to volunteer. Also, be sure to check the Helping Feed Atlanta Facebook page regularly for other needs that arise with which you may be able to help. You are necessary, and greatly appreciated.
