Our vans may overflow with bounty, but our wallets definitely don’t! Our founder and executive director, David Skoke, paid for the gas, insurance, and maintenance of the first van out of his own pocket until we raised money through a successful Indiegogo campaign earlier this year. Now with two vans and additional partners and clients, these costs have gone up. These are the only expenses for Helping Feed Atlanta and every dollar you donate goes directly to transporting fruits and vegetables to those in need. Put simply, $50 = a fill-up, not just of a tank but of a lot of tummies.
